Helensburgh Oratorio Choir

Welcome to the Helensburgh Oratorio Choir web site. The choir have been entertaining audiences with high quality choral singing for nearly fifty years. Recent concerts cover four centuries of composers from Bach to Rutter. To the huge delight of our audiences, drawn from both local residents to regular visitors from over 50 miles away, we aim to perform choral works of the highest quality with professional orchestras and soloists.

This web site will help you to find out further information about the choir, both our future performances and information for potential new members. In addition to our large scale concerts we also undertake a number of charity concerts in venues from Stirling to Haddington and if you are interested in the choir performing in your area please feel free to contact us. Our last charity concert in the Vale of Leven raised over £600 for CHAS, a local hospice. In the Helensburgh and Lomond Community Spirit Awards 2010, the Choir was awarded a finalist's certificate under the Lifetime Achievement Award, reflecting the choir's ongoing contribution to the civic life of the area.
